today i got up at 8 and packed up all my stuff adn drove to a sample sale on venice street. it took a good while to set everything up. i forgot bags for all my sales so i had to come back and get them. i drove back and then wait for people to show up. nobody did. except like 10 people, 2 of whom bbought something from me. one person bought a jacket and another jacket, the other person bought a dress. i made $100.

i am going to cancel the check i wrote to "find" for the space rental. the check was for $285. I dont feel like losing $185, i feel like making $100.

On the way home I went to Taco Bell. I placed my order and pulled up to pay. A young girl working there came to the window. "HEY, what are you doing with all those clothes?? LAUNDRY??" " No, I'm selling them. Want one??" "Okay." She snatches a size 4 green pullover from my hands. "Pull ahead for your order."

I came home and didin't win a lap top on ebay. Now i am gonna do financial aid stuff for Central St. Martins and feed the cats cause i can hear them trying to sneek into the cabinet. it sounds like a door slamming over and over.

yesterday after all that stuff including bike ride, oil change, and sandwich lady i went and saw Joy and Andy's Performance at Redcat. The 1st half was really good. The first performance in the second half was AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. This guy was wearing mostly black and a scarf inside and had this ireally clubby music with all sorts of anything weird in it with this video that was DISGUSTING. At one point there was a clip of a tv in a spoon being cooked like Then there was another disaster about a stay at home mom and how it sucks to cook and clean. I wanted to barf. This was the first line in that person's biography. oh i can't find it.. but this was on the website : John Sinner's new theathrical work "if water were present, it woudl be called drowning" is a romp through the exploding mind of of Lolly, as she takes us into the trenches of her daily battle between domesticity and self-prservation".. who fucking cares. andy's and joy's was pretty well done. it was a layered story about cat shows and a reunion. there were good sounds and good pace. joy had good body movements it made a good number of people laugh hard (it was supposed to).

Today I got up at "10:30" but then by the time i spent an hour downstairs packing up ebay things, i realized it was only 9:30 which meant i had been up since 8:30. I boxed up something for a guy who lives on Nancy Lane in Indianna. I think i sent him my old gym shoes that he bought for 15 dollars and 5 in shipping. the box i sent it in ended up being nicer than the stupid pair of shoes that had velcro on them. i am glad they are gone. I am also excited that somebody else's foot will be where mine once was. I wonder where he is goign to go in them.. O NO! He was from Florida. Kissimme. I think his name was hyphenated.. how about i just go find his name and then cut and paste it down here. Okay here i go.

After i boxed everything up, i went to the post office like 15 miutes away because all the workers at the post office on Pico Street in Korea town are horrible and mean. Sometimes i wonder if they even ship my boxes or just rip them open and then use whatever is inside. I sent all the junk and it ended up being fine excpet a few boxes cost more than what people paid me so ia sked them to send the rest. I just got paypaled 1.17 from Laura because her box of fabric was heavier than expected.. i didn't really expect anythign though. i just guessed 5 dollars.

after that i went to get my oil changed. he changed it and even convinced me to get my fluids changed which cost a pretty penny but the guy was really nice. i asked him where i could get a bike rack for my car so i can take my bike to colorado with me this summer.. he had a friend in Duarte who does that kind of stuff.. but it cost 500 so i said no. then i called a bunch of places on the payphone over in the VONS parking lot cause i left my cell phone at home on accident..well mostly on purpose, cause i didnt relaly think anybody would call. but when i got home there were 2 messages. one from art and one from this girl sandy who said she got home from the same sale on saturday and the sleeves on her jacket were smaller than she remembered.. Oh, anne i hope you are reading this. THE LADY at VONS remembered me and said "where's your vegetarian friend". cause i was in there getting a sandwich after i made the phone calls. the first pay phone seemed to work, but it didn't. so i had to go to the one over by the water machine. i dialed the guy again and explained that when i called earlier it was from a different pay phone and i wanted to know if this one worked better.. he said yes. so then after my car was done and i paid the guy an extra 2 dollars to wipe up all the rust in the trunk, i went to the bike shop. he was nice and gave me a print out of everything i needed in order to have my bike on top of my car. it was less expensive than oil change man's friend. i then went and rode my bike at the beach for an hour and wached 5 guys with huge white tshirts play basketball. they mostly missed but acted like they were really good. i fell asleep in the sun listening to chairman dances. i woke up 3 or 4 times and immediately did inventory to see what was stolen by the thugs. they didn't steal anything!!


i came home to a messy room where i wrote this blog entry. buy my bass clarinet on ebay.

Today I was eating at a fast food restaurant. I was sitting down and i coudl see the drive thru. There was a taxi cab driver in the driver's seat and the person i the passenger's seat was leaning over him telling the worker at the window what that her sandwich was wrong.

I figured out what to get Emily for her birthday.

Also, all the stupid shirts are done. All the SPring shipments are packed. Now all i have to do is sell all my stuff and move to London.

Last nite Joy and I went to see Pilgrims at the Ricardo Montobon theater in Hollyweird. It was fun. The show was good. Then we went out to eat and got the SAME THING again. this time it was bar-b-q salad.. I think Michael had fish of some sorts. He remarked on the waiters large muscles.

We got home and watched American Inventor. Theres is this crazy lady on there who fell down 40 feet and her "best buddy" accidentally threw down his jacket with the car keys. She is on crutches. Does anybody understand this or even care? I do. Email me if you do.

Today I got up too early and went to Long Beach to Art's studio to pick up the new rayon pieces and linen jacket. Everythiing looked good then I went to meet him down at the Grand Prix. My phone ran out of batteries and then my camera so i only have 3 images which have little3 or nothign to do with the show.. except that lady "works" there.

CLAREMORE, Okla. (April 4) - The ex-wife of country music star Garth Brooks was kidnapped at gunpoint by a man who worked on her farm after she cooperated with a bail bondsman who wanted to arrest the worker, authorities said Tuesday.

Sandy Brooks had allowed the bondsman onto her property Monday to apprehend the man, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant. The worker responded by drawing a weapon, forcing her into a car and ordering her to drive away, said Barry Lamb, undersheriff of Rogers County.

After driving for several miles, Brooks stopped the car and fled into a convenience store, Lamb said.

Quintine Cornelius Harper was arrested and charged Tuesday with kidnapping and weapons offenses, police said. Lamb said Harper was 24, but a booking sheet at the Tulsa County Jail listed his age as 28.

Sandy Brooks and Garth Brooks were married for 15 years. The couple have three children, but none were present at the time of the kidnapping, Lamb said.

Garth Brooks married Trisha Yearwood in a private ceremony in December at their home northeast of Tulsa.

Sandy Brooks lives nearby, Lamb said.

With all Randy Orton’s talk of destiny, it was the Wrestling Machine Kurt Angle who seemed destined to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. He put on a clinic, hitting a jaw-dropping German suplex to both Orton and Mysterio that sent Mysterio flying clear across the ring. He made both Orton and Mysterio tap to a grapevined ankle lock — only to be foiled each time by a second opponent who could distract the referee and physically detain him. He kicked out of an RKO and a seated senton pinning predicament. And ultimately, he would be desperately trying to reach the ring to break up a match-ending, championship-winning pin that didn’t directly involve him.

Instead, it was the desire and unique athleticism of Rey Mysterio that propelled him to a historic victory — one that was for both him and the late, great Eddie Guerrero.

After Angle hit Orton with an Angle Slam, he attempted to do the same to Mysterio. But Rey reversed it into an innovative arm drag that slingshot the champion wildly to the outside. Mysterio followed with a 619 to Orton and a West Cost Pop hurricanrana pin that earned the three-count. Mysterio held the World Heavyweight Championship high while he was greeted by Chavo and Vickie Guerrero at the top of the entrance ramp. It’s something many said Mysterio could never do. Today was pretty awesome. We went to the Greek Step Show at the Long Beach Pyramid. K Slide was there. Also a man with a purple stocking cap over his head. Also, everyone was hugging everybody. Joy got hugged by some girl she knew from USC. The girl then ran away as fast as she could and half-danced on the stairs closer to K Slide. Here are some pictures.
