black napkins?

First things first, I love it when convenience stores sell pop for different prices. Let me explain. On the way home from band last night, there was a sign up in store that said ''7-up 3/£1 Coke 4/£1.'' Unbelievable, right!!!

Melinda Doolittle, arguably the best "Idol" contestant to miss out on the finale, returned to impress the crowd again as she sang "Hold Up the Line" with gospel stars BeBe and CeCe Winans.

Yesterday, this is also what happened. I went to get an ink cartridge. I stopped to get cash. The ATM (defiantly not Atonement truth and mercy) ate my card. It ate it hard! So i walked back home, pouting. Then later on I went to go get it from some place off Victoria. The bus ride took forever and a half. Apparently one of the stations exploded so everybody was flooding bus lines, etc. Do you have to have more than one example before you can put ''etc''??? So wait in line at this dump of a store and place my order. I went to block C to pick up my order and 20 minutes later some troll comes over and tells me that they were sold out. I went and bought it at a third location. It cost basically $34 dollars for a color cartridge. Then i had to take the train to band and it took 1.5 hours. I left early. I forget what lie I told them.

BTW, there was a store on the way home called Dimples. I was gonna put that up in my ''pop'' paragraph, but i thought it deserved its own paragraph.

My friend wrote a REALLY GOOD STORY 2-day on his blog.
It is the May 13th entry, in case you check this in the future (after he has more blog entries).

YANGON, Myanmar (AP) -- Women in Myanmar not only have to watch out for pickpockets when they're commuting, shopping or walking down the street, but also hair thieves, a weekly journal reported Sunday.

Long-haired women in crowded areas have fallen victim to surreptitious hair snippers who steal their hair to sell, the Burmese-language 24/7 news journal reported.

"My long hair was cut while I was on my way back from the office. I found out only when I got back home," an unidentified female bus commuter was quoted as saying.

The woman said her friend's tresses were cut while she was walking down the street and she only noticed when some remaining strands fell. Another woman's hair was cut while she was shopping at a roadside store, the journal said.

Many women in Myanmar have waist- or knee-length hair which they wear in a ponytail, making it easy for thieves to snip off the hair and sell it as extensions.

Women are also approached by hair traders who ask to buy their long hair, the journal quoted the bus commuter as saying.

The report said the price of hair has increased as demand for hair as an export or raw material rises. A viss (1.6 kilograms; 3.5 pounds) of hair is worth between 400,000 kyats ($320) and 500,000 kyats ($400), it said.

This is where I am going this summer before I move to Chicago to get a job and a cat. The editing on the video is really good. The balance between the lady dancing in that cubicle with a railing and the road shots is really good.
I just found this card from where Miki and I ate in Brussels. It was called Cave du Roy.

Today, I was on the way home from class and stopped to get Indian take-out. I was really hungry, so I ripped open the bag with nann in it and started eating it. As I walked past the bus station, a young lady said "Every time I see you, you're eating something!" I responded "JEALOUS??"

My room looks like this right now
