dear god
where do i begin?
i only have three more days of working in carson. i can't wait to be done with it because of reasons i will discuss once my check is cashed.
yesterday, i worked then came back home to meet tanya. i met her at a sample sale in asn diego. turns out she went to risd for furniture too. she, john and i went to Palermofor dinner. We got in and they brought us pizza free samples before we even ordered anything. We had some salads, a pizza, and two carafes of house wine. The carafes were plastic and the wine somehow got in there. I asked where the wine came form and a guy with curly hair said "a box." We stayed there for a long time then sat on the patio until it was just us and a stanchion. On the way home we drove by John's old apartment (lights off) and tried to break in Tanya's old studio. The locks were changed but our car was double parked anyways. Today I got up and John was watching TV at 8am. I asked how he got up so early to watch the world cup. He said he set his alarm. I like that. Then I went to work then went running in Santa Monica. I made it all the way from Santa Monica pier to Venice Pier without stopping. I mean, except for when i stoped to smoke. J/J Vagoda called me on my way home to explain that he wants my Kurzweil but he will have to ship it to New York but his "old lady" says there's not enough room for it. Also, he will have to have his friend come and check it out but he is gonna have to install more RAM unless I have updated the ram also a lot of other things that made me want to crash my car. Brenda has her paw on my phone. A thug called and wanted to buy my projector. "I'm trying to replace all my stuff that gots stolen". Does anybody know how to take stitches out? I dont want to go to Beverly Hills to have them taken out, although Dr. Kwaw will give me his aunt and uncle's phone number in England in case i need anything. He is a nice person.

yesterday i got home and john was inflating a pool in the living room. he bought one for 19.99 at target. it has cup holders and a back rest. so i helped him blow it up and by then anne and jonah got here! they pulled up in anne's sion. we unloaded their stuff and made room for them in the front room. then i realized my fucking bike was stolen. so i got really mad. not my fold up bikes, but my regular bike that i specially put a bike rack on my car for. so then we decided to go to the gas station and inflate the bike tires on the fold up bikes, and then we went for dinner. we got food and met the bike gang across from a foot dr. about 5 people showed up and we biked on our little bikes to highland and vine to some bar. both anne and i forgot our photo ids but the guy let us in anyways. it was fun. anne does this thing where she sneaks somebody's drink while they are not looking and then when they notice and go "hey!" it's too l ate and she has her paws around a "free drink.". oh, while we were at the food place getting take out, anne said "can i have a water in a foam cup. i'm cheap." then we rode back to mike's house and put our bikes in his car. he yelled at me for trying to close the door. oh, while we were riding bikes, people shouted "NICE TRICYCLES!!". at some points on our path, our bikes would unlock and try to unfold back to the folded position. we laughed all night, and that is the way it should be.

today i went to work and came home. joy and i played scrabble atagians miki/joe and anne/jonah. the game didnt' have a clear winner but i do know that joy went in the pool after jonah filled it up and anne made good salsa & pasta. we also played a few flute/clarinet duets on the front porch. the high notes make the trees shake.

i think thursday i drove to work and got a flat tire. i ended up wasting 80 bucks on that.

then friday i shipped a bunch of elegant elevator stuff to the people who bought stuff. then i went to the gym and then i drove to work. i told her i'd work 4-midnight or 1. i got a bunch of stuff done and then i put the sewing machine needle through my left thumb. i went and looked at it in the bathroom and it didn't look too bad. so i went back to the machine and the needle was broken. so the chunk was in my finger. i totally paniced and flipped over some tables and then lit her studio on fire. not really. i just tried pushign it out and fixing it but it kept hurting worse. so i worked for a while and then decided to head home at 1am and go to the emergency room. everyone there was in horrible condition. including the 60 year old woman with 4 sick children. the mother had on a teeshirt that said "in between boyfriends". i'm thinking the teeshirt is more literal than figurative. so i got sick of sitting there after 5 minutes and went home, ate cheese, and went to sleep. i went to dr. kwaw in the morning. he arranged for a radiologist to take an xray of my finger. he did. and it was in there. the dr. pumped my thumb up with numbing agents and cut a hole in there and got it out. i was making small talk with the dr. throughout the operation. it was fun. dr. kwaw doens't validate parkinng so i "had" to go to hamburger hamlet and get a burger. it was delicious except that half way through my burger my finger started hurting really bad. so i asked some people for a Tylenol. Nobody had any. i came home, watched tv, took a nap until 10pm, got up, watched tv, then went back to sleep.

today is father's day. joy's dad had some coupon for a free lunch at a Mexican place in a strip mall in Redlands so we drove up there and met her mom and dad and brother.everything was nice there. then we went and had cake at her parents house. then joy and i went to a cemetary to see her old friend who died a few years ago. we went through some sprinklers and saw a beer can on a grave. apparently, somebody brought the "old man" some suds for father's day. joy claims there was a pepsi somewhere else but i dont remember that. also, there was a uhaul truck in the cemetary. then we went to some bandshell where a band was warming up. they sounded horrible. the director talked forever. during a song, i got a call from the director of denver community band. she said she has room for an Eb. i like her style.
we got ice cream, went to walmart, then came home.

I traded Valerie my overlock machine for two folding, collapsible bikes. They are fantastic except that the tires aren't inflated. I think they are broken cause they look really crackled. I think I might fix them in Colorado or in Chicago. They (the bikes) are definately going to Florida with me and bob AND JOY who decided she is going. This is good news. She will either fly into Denver, Chicago, Tennesse, Atlanta, or Orlando to join the fun. I forget if i posted but we are going on a Carnival cruise in late August. I think about it every day.

Also, I am selling all my mustaches. This is what the floor looked like in the living room.

I am leaving Los Angeles at the end of the month. I am moving to Coloardo then England. I am gonna start a list of fun things, great places, and oddds and ends that happened over the last 4 years.

class at Art Center with old man who liked asians. I learned nothing but met Ellen in the class. She was just over today. They were all goign to the cememtary to see a film but i was too tired.. Turned out she knew Bridget and Claremont People.
goign to six flags with yoshi toshi and emily. we went to get a job at a temp agency and they hired us to work around halloween at six flags. we were all broke so we went to do it. yoshi toshi was a kid who lived with us at 2121 san fernando. we worked at six flags and yoshi got mad at us when we wanted to go on rides for our break. emily and i went back the next day in our work clothes, then changed in the bathroom and went on rides. that was a fun time but i was more nervous than I'd like to admit.i forget this part but i think emily wanted to go have food at a place where workers went. i can't remember if we went there. i think the draw was that it was cheaper (Because it was supposed to be for employees).
performing at redcat with andy, cavit celayir-monezis, and anne yambor. we had a fun time. we went for California Pizza Kitchen before our performance. My parents were here on vacation
the one time when somebody loft a sign on my car at 2121 that said "do not black the dryway" .. because I was parked a little bit in front of a gated entrance.
being chosed by LA.com for a solo show at El Cid. It was a nice show and Miki helped make it happen with jewelry and dressing people.
goign to Alverrra Street with Stephanie
going on a celebrity home tour with Becca and Drew
Richard Peels / Robert Pelles: there are too many great stories to name. But I'll list my top three favorites
A: The time his friend in Australia said he had a bunch of extra shark fins since they dont use the shark fins in Australia for anything. The people around where we live are Korean and Koreans love shark fin soup so his friend in Australia said he'd send a bunch of shark fins to Richard / Robert. Well, since Richard had a trucking company, he had one of his employees go and pick it up at the Long Beach Marina. The guy who picked it up was drunk and crashed his semi full of shark fins on the 405 freeway adn there were shark fins all over the road.
B: The time i was in the front yard cutting my hair and Richard / Robert walked by and said he coudl do a better job at cutting it so i let him. He asked me what I was cutting my hair for rand I said i was cutting it for the saxophone lesson I had to give that evening. Richard / Robert said "you play saxophone?" I said "yeah" and then i went upstairs and got it and brought it down and played a beatufiul solo passage form somehting nice.. I sounded good and Robert / Richard goes "i've heard worse"
C: The time when Richard came over and banged on the door and showed me the winning lotto ticket from Las Vegas adn a check for 1.76 million dollars. I told him I needed a part time job so he said he was gonna buy a buildign in Santa Monica and turn it into a business where suits and dresses are made for underpriviledged students who coludn't afford to dress themeselves for prom. I said, "what am i gonna do the other 9 months of the year when I am not designing suits or gowns". He said "you can make shorts or something." I think that same day he said that I shoudl use dog's foot on my beard to make it grow faster
When I competed in the LA City Triathlon. I didn't train for it. I didn't win. I had fun and it was an interesting experience.
Taking a new music class through UCLA extension. My teacher performs in Floom.
Renting 3 wheeled bikes with Emily at the beach. We went down this huge set of stairs on them. At the bottom we heard another different bike rental owner say "THANK GOD THOSE AREN'T MY BIKES"
building a haunted house with Kate on Halloween in my front yard. Many people went through it.
Steve at stranger party at 2121. We had a few parties where we invited half people we knew, half people we didn't know on craigslist, and steve was one of the not know people. he had a long pony tail and played the flute at our party. He was about 50 years old.
goign to Mexico with Allee and Andy and some lame girl for my birthday. there were horses on the beach. me and lame girl went swimming and nearly froze
Temporary JoJo Pinkie Gallery. Right when i got here, I responded to some web ad for an art show in Costa Mesa, CA. I went and set up soem shit for a performance. It was a horrible show. There were boulder things there that were ceramic. Like a year later, I had met Anne. Turns out those were her boudlers in the Temporary JoJo Pinkie gallery. We were in the same Fing show.
THE ORANGE COUNTY fair where they had a table dressing competition. It was so good. These are themes that may or may not have been assembled with flatware, table cloth, and napkins : Sponge bob, America the Beautiful, The Incredible Hulk, World War II
Demolition Derby at the OC fair
decorating 966 with andy and joy at christmas time
Hiking with Barkev and Lindsay and co. in Joshua Tree with Stephanie
 playing tennis in Griffith Park.
Being chosen for Gen Art's Fresh Faces in Fashion LA. Huge runway show, 10 professional models, all out.
Seeing my Daewoo wheel shoot across 4 lanes of traffic heading to Art's place in Long beach. My Daewoo woudln't see too many more days.
meeting, working, and getting to know Rain.
AIRGRAMS with Andy, Anne, and Daniel. There were these things at a marching band competition two years ago where you could pay $1 to have a message read over teh loud speakers so we wrote up all these ridiculous comments and we waited and waited and wwaited. i think they maybe have read af ew but we got most of our money refunded because they were too weird. i think we even got $1 too much back. So we got keychains made. Apparently we asked too many questions, so the owner guy said he almost lost money on us because we haulted the flow of traffic at his booth. He sucked but at least Yuma (Anne's cat) got to go on the field.
Camping with Kate at C & C campground. We wanted to camp in Malibu but it was too crowded and everything was full. So we drove to some place we found in the phone book. Turned out to be right next to Disney Land it was a concrete spot about 5' X 7'. We got wine coolers and went to sleep. I love that place.
Eating at Soup Plantation with Cavit Anne and Andy after we recorded our BHWT demo. Cavit had lettuce with French dressing on it.
 taking clarinet lessons with Elana.
"losing the music" at PCC. Everybody there is senile.
Going to the waterpark in San Dimas with Emily.
Going to Malibu camp ground with Emily and Bob. The code to get in the bathroom is 321. They have a hot tub, table tennis, washing machines, and a killer view. Miki met us there and then we started getting 1/2 rowdy with people from Canada.
Getting fabric from Mike's. They are the nicest people in all of LA
Steve Reich concert at the Disney Center
 Organ in Pasadena on Halloween
Not getting into American Idol with Leslie
Getting kicked out of Paramount studios with Emily because I fake snored and pissed off the warm up guy. We didn't get paid, but we had Quiznos for lunch anyways. we got escorted off the lot by some bitch with a headset on.
Doing drawings for Ultimate Backyard Living.
Aiyana and Fook and David Daskal
Taking photos of John's windows so he can sell them on ebay. John was the one who set his whole apartment complex on fire. TUPAC (Richard's nickname because he owns a business that makes Tupac Sukur t-shirts) rescued 3 kids from the burning building. The building was set on fire by John because he only had one piece of bread and needed to make a sandwich. He likes his bread toasted. So he put the one in the toaster and went to the grocery store for another loaf. By the time he got back TUPAC was standing there with the children. TUPAC was nomiated for a good samaritan award but turned it down because he didn't want the noteriety.
going to the gym on fridays followed by a movie at laemmle playhouse
going on lunch break with Lupe at Michaels in Valencia at 8 am
step show at cal state long beach pyramid with joy
 judging theather fest with joy.
Paul Bailey Ensemble concert a few months ago in Venice
Seeing Daniel Kelly perform at LA opera. Anne waved to him, i think.
Pho 2000 (thai), Langers (pastrami), Phillipe's (french dip), Senor Fish (tacos), cha cha cha (happy hour mixens), Mae Ploy (thai)
the Kids are Alright and their support with my line.
Luke-warm Lasagna at Andy's senior bassoon recital
working on Andy's show "Get Out of My Treehouse, Phyllis Diller"
 performing clarinet at the Panorama
 St. Vincent thrift store shopping.
playing Scrabble with Cynthia to avoid party
fake auditions at 2121. we'd post online that we're casting for a show. we were gonna do acting but didn't. but we did do one for msusicians. professionals came over and played for us thinking we were having a show. i guess that was mean, but it was fun while it was going down.
 USC wind ensemble concert
Riding down to San Diego for Thread with Miki, Jenny T, and Andy. We rented a van and drove down there. We got an ice cream cone for the parkign attendant at the drug store, went too fast over bumps, and wiped our cheeto fingers on the ceiling of the van. I also won $500 on bingo at the casino down there. We had food delivered to our slot machines as a way of celebrating (getting rid of it as fast as we could).
buying cigarette extensions with Emily in Chinatown.
 Cat show in Costa Mesa
getting my first tatoo with Kate in Pasadena
teaching saxophone at Yamaha Music on Wilshire Blvd.
1 year in LA: David E. Stone
 bingo at Hollywood Park
playing Eb clarinet with Long Beach Winds
paying 2 shows with My Barbarian
today at work, my boss told me about that her ex-boyfriend (a chinese body builder) threw a cookie jar at her one time. i said i hoped the cookies didn't go to waste. then she said he kept beef jerkey in there and not cookies. then i told her that cookies usually go TO the waist and not to waste. she just stood there.
