I fell in love today (with the online walmart customer reviews). The writing is dry, humorless, and unappologetic. I have so much to learn.

here are a few of my favorite excerpts:

I ordered a blu-ray with overnight shipping because it was a late gift, and the item was recieved 2 days later. This was not a problem because it came in time, but I was told it was due to processing time. You would think that if an item is ordered for overnight shipping they would expedite the processing of it. Also I ordered the item at around 8:00am to try and get it the next day. Oh well decent service and I would do business with again if needed because of stock but not otherwise.

ordered stamina magnetic programmable stationary bike. Arrived broken. When trying to adjust the difficulty level it would make a clicking noise b/c it uses plastic gears and instead of moving each other they were just skipping over each other causing the clicks as well as NOT adjusting the difficulty level. I went to return it to the store and was told that the shipping cost I had to pay to receive this broken hunk of junk was non-refundable. That's crap if you ask me.

Update: Called customer service when i got back from the crappy store and they refunded me the shipping. Overall an okay experience.

I had ordered a Toddler Bed for my son, and by the time the order was delivered (took about 2 weeks time), the box was all ripped open, and the entire tools/screws were missing from the set. I had to call up the customer service, and the lady was nice enough to help me through the process, and send the missing pieces, which arrive in a couple of days time.

Overall, it wasn't a great experience, but the customer service folks did make the process easier, especially when the package delivered initially was broker/incomplete.

I have been shopping online for a long time, and this was the first instance when I had to follow-up with the customer service, which wasn't bad though.
