On Saturday morning, I took a train to Northampton to play in a band up there. I got off at the right station, but the band's name and where the band rehearsed were two different places. I had to get on a bus and go over more towards somewhere else. I didn't have any cash, so I had to run to a mall and get 2 pounds.
I got to rehearsal a half hour late. They sounded really really good.
Before Saturday, I made a hotel reservation at the Euro Inn. It was booked through Mr. Chen. I didnt want to put down a deposit in case I hated the band and wanted to leave. Since the band wasn't awful, I wanted to sttay for the second day. When rehearsal got over at 9 pm, I had second chair saxophone take me in her car to 17 Something Rd. There was no 17 on whatever road it was. So I called on the phone and some guy gave me the right address. It was off by 5. I walked in the lobby and some guy wit frizzy hair came out of room 25 which was right next to the check in station. I said "Where's Mr. Chen?" and the guy with frizzy hair and a broken nose (with tape all over it) said there was no Mr. Chen. Also, there was no reservation for me. I explained to broken nose that I had a reservation for a 35 pound smoking room. I dont smoke (well, i really dont like paying 35 pounds either, but I didn't think that was negotiable). Broken nose said there were no smoking rooms in teh place. They also didnt take credit card, so he phoned in my payment. Also, my room that he gave me was the room he just walked out of when i came through the main door. I said "didn't you just come out of that room" and he said that it was the only room with internet access.. I said that he didn't come out with a laptop. He said "i know" then i said "oh, is there ra computer in 'thur that I can use" and he said no. There wasn't upon examination, so I dont know how he was looking at the internet. This is him not looking at the internet with all my stuff scattered across the desk.
These are other photos, however unremarkable they may be.
